Walker's American Karate

About the Instructor

Bradley Walker has been involved in martial arts for 17 years.  He holds black belts in American Karate and Kodokan Judo.  He also has supplemental training in Kenpo Karate, Small Circle Ju Jitsu, and Kung-fu.  Bradley opened his school 8 years ago with the philosophy that simple and effective is the way to train and teach.  He wanted something easy to learn and effective as a self-defense.  He has been very successful developing his system this way.

About Walker's American Karate

This system was created in 1999 by Bradley Walker.  It embraces the freedoms established by the American way of life, putting a strong emphasis on family values and self-control.  In the physical part of our training we teach punches, kicks, blocks, stances, throws, and ground fighting techniques.  We also teach basic self-defense moves and pressure points.  Along with the physical side, we teach mental techniques which include: correct choice making, anger management, stress reduction, and meditation skills (improves attention span, creativity, learning ability, and memory retrieval).

It is our goal to help guide our students into becoming better people.  We will achieve this goal through self-discipline.  Also, we will achieve this by developing our mental and physical techniques on a daily basis in our everyday lives.
